Packaged in a cellophane bag.<\/p>\n<h3>History of Mother&#039;s Day<\/h3>\n<p>The history of Mother&#039;s Day begins in the United States. Anna Jarvis (1864 - 1948), a teacher from Philadelphia, started Mother&#039;s Day in 1914. She admired her own mother and the role mothers had in society. When her own mother died in 1905 on the first Sunday in May, the following year she organized a General Memorial Day of All Mothers on the first Sunday after her mother&#039;s day of death. She then wanted to organize a day in honor for mothers every year.
