To lay eggs, the sea turtle often swims thousands of miles back to the beach where it was once born. She has a strong memory and knows exactly where to go. The sea turtle lays 100 to 200 eggs at a time! That's a breeze for her. :-)<\/span><\/p>\n

The temperature of the eggs determines whether the young turtles become boys or girls. When the eggs hatch, the sea turtles themselves crawl towards the sea. A sea turtle can live to be quite old, some over 100 years!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
