Brrr, what a creep, with his big mouth full of sharp teeth and his sneaky way of stalking and grabbing his prey from the water. This is an African crocodile, other species occur in several warm regions. This crocodile can grow up to 6 meters in length and weigh up to 1,000 kg. They live up to 100 years and continue to grow all these years.

A crocodile is a reptile. They are cold-blooded. So they cannot stay warm by themselves, they need sun for that. The females lay eggs and bury them on the shore in the warm sand. They do not incubate the eggs themselves but stay nearby to protect them from animals that might otherwise eat them. She lays about forty eggs. Their speed and strong jaws allow crocodiles to catch large beasts. They can swim very well and use their powerful tail to do so. They maintain balance with their legs and can change direction or slow down. On land, they can stand on their feet and run very fast for a short distance. Crocodiles can jump up to 2 meters high to catch their prey. They eat all meat, including large animals such as antelopes and zebras. These are pulled under water and torn to pieces.

Each Popcard can be sent as a greeting card and unfolded it becomes special presents. This 3D card was first devised by our designer, after which he made a test model of it manually. After this sample has been approved, the different shapes to be cut out are programmed in a computer. This computer controls a precision laser, which burns the finely detailed details from the various sheets of cardboard with a gossamer hot laser beam.
