Each Popcard can be sent as a greeting card and unfolded it becomes special presents. This 3D card was first devised by our designer, after which he made a test model of it manually. After this sample has been approved, the different shapes to be cut out are programmed in a computer. This computer controls a precision laser, which burns the finely detailed details from the various sheets of cardboard with a gossamer hot laser beam. This precise cutting is only possible with a laser. Once all shapes are cut separately, the card is assembled by hand. The card is then packed in a cellophane bag together with an envelope. History of Mother's Day
The history of Mother's Day begins in the United States. Anna Jarvis (1864 - 1948), a teacher from Philadelphia, started Mother's Day in 1914. She admired her own mother and the role mothers had in society. When her own mother died in 1905 on the first Sunday in May, the following year she organized a General Memorial Day of All Mothers on the first Sunday after her mother's day of death. She then wanted to organize a day in honor for mothers every year. In 1914 she succeeded in making Mother's Day an official holiday.
