A drum kit consists of several parts that are played by a single drummer. The most important parts are the bass drum, snare drum, hi-hat, toms and cymbals. The bass drum is the largest drum and is played with a foot pedal. The snare drum is the drum that sits between the drummer's legs and is played with sticks. The hi-hat consists of two cymbals that are placed on top of each other and are operated with a foot pedal. The toms are smaller drums that stand above the bass drum and are played with sticks. Cymbals are metal discs that are played with sticks and hang above the drum set. This pop-up drum kit can't really be played, of course, but the detailing is amazing! Each Popcard can be sent as a greeting card and unfolded it becomes special presents. This 3D card was first devised by our designer, after which he made a test model of it manually. After this sample has been approved, the different shapes to be cut out are programmed in a computer. This computer controls a precision laser, which burns the finely detailed details from the various sheets of cardboard with a gossamer hot laser beam. This precise cutting is only possible with a laser. Once all shapes are cut separately, the card is assembled by hand. The card is then packed in a cellophane bag together with an envelope.
