Each Popcard can be sent as a greeting card and unfolded it becomes special presents. This 3D card was first devised by our designer, after which he made a test model of it manually. After this sample has been approved, the different shapes to be cut out are programmed in a computer. This computer controls a precision laser, which burns the finely detailed details from the various sheets of cardboard with a gossamer hot laser beam. This precise cutting is only possible with a laser. Once all shapes are cut separately, the card is assembled by hand. The card is then packed in a cellophane bag together with an envelope. Ring-tailed lemur in jungle – Madagascar – King Julien | pop-up card 3D greeting card
lemurs are prosimians and in the wild live only in the forests on the island of Madagascar. Madagascar is the fourth largest island in the world and is located off the east coast of Africa. A lemur belongs to the prosimians and there are 21 types of lemurs. The ring-tailed lemur is the most famous species and can be admired in many zoos.
Ring-tailed lemurs eat leaves, flowers and fruits. The fruit of the Kigelia tree is their favorite food. This tree is called sausage tree because the fruits resemble thick sausages. Ring-tailed lemurs live in large groups of up to 25 animals. In such a group adult males and females live together, with the females clearly in charge. They communicate with each other through body odors and sounds, which resemble a cat's meowing. During the mating season, the males compete for the females in a very special way, namely by means of a stink fight. The men rub their tails with strong-smelling body odors. After this they swing their tail wildly near their opponent, after which one of them finally withdraws. A ring-tailed lemur can live up to 35 years. Its length is up to 45 cm, plus a tail up to 60 cm. A ring-tailed lemur weighs about 3 kg.
The habitat of the ring-tailed lemur is in danger. More and more forests where they live are being cut down.
