Velociraptor (Raptor)

Velociraptor is a genus of carnivorous theropod dinosaurs that lived in the area of present-day Mongolia during the Late Cretaceous, about 75 million years ago. His name means "fast robber". Twelve specimens of Velociraptor have been excavated, including some fairly complete ones, so scientists could get a good idea of what the animal looked like.

On his foot he carried an enlarged raised sickle-shaped claw, with which he could inflict a deadly sting on prey heavier than himself, such as Protoceratops. One of the most famous fossils in the world consists of a Velociraptor and a Protoceratops that have been buried in sand and fossilized while fighting.

Each Popcard can be sent as a greeting card and unfolded it becomes special presents. This 3D card was first devised by our designer, after which he made a test model of it manually. After this sample has been approved, the different shapes to be cut out are programmed in a computer. This computer controls a precision laser, which burns the finely detailed details from the various sheets of cardboard with a gossamer hot laser beam. This precise cutting is only possible with a laser. Once all shapes are cut separately, the card is assembled by hand. The card is then packed in a cellophane bag together with an envelope.
